Glass Conference Table ...

Create a Modern Look with a Glass Conference Table In Your Business...

Architecture firms, art galleries, clothing design companies, and graphic arts firms are a few examples of businesses that may wish to add a modern flair to their conference room with a glass conference table.  Historically, glass top tables have added a sleek, contemporary feel to a room or office, whether the table is square, round, or elliptical.  Easy to care for, a glass top can be cleaned with a mere swipe of a paper towel and a squirt of glass cleaner, which is great because glass tables attract finger prints and smudges.

With no concern over coffee spills or sweaty glasses on the glass surface, and no need for furniture polish or wood conditioners, glass is very popular for more reasons than just the modern spin it can add to a conference room.  The glass conference table, of course, is transparent, and this gives new importance to the style of the support beneath and table legs, as wells as the chairs and carpet, because meeting attendees will be looking at all of these things from their seats at the office table.

Once you have decided on a glass table, you will need to decide of you want the frame to made of an attractive stained hard wood, such as oak, maple, or mahogany, or aluminum or wrought iron.  The wooden frame will serve to add a little conservative detail to your glass conference table, whereas a decorative iron or steel structure will make your table a decoratively modern focal point in your room.  Be sure to keep ease of cleaning in mind as you shop; the structure beneath the glass will need to be dusted and cleaned regularly, so it needs to be accessible.

Simple and sleek, or ornate and complex, framed or beveled, glass tables come in a wide variety of styles.  A conservative office can use a glass table if the accents in the room are simple and conservative; basically a glass conference table can be used to create any look you like, depending on the details in the room around it, and the complexity of the legs and supports beneath.
